Fashion ComPassion: Luxury with a Purpose



Another international UK based brand Fashion Compassion is knocking at your doorstep, having all its quality luxurious bags and accessories for the bags and accessory lovers. The stylish clutches and variety textures attracts everyone. Fashion ComPassion, a socially responsible retail house has launched a range of luxury handbags for the first time in Pakistan in a well embellish event on October 11th at Ensemble Karachi..

Fashion Compassion, the unique online shopping portal was founded by social entrepreneur Ayesha Mustafa in November 2010. The portal provides a platform to skilled and creative women artisans, by stocking brands that work with them. Ms Mustafa, currently working with seven socially responsible brands across the world with a mission to create new and exciting products. These products have also been acknowledged by leading fashion publications, such as British Vogue, Vogue.Com, Vogue Italia, Marie Claire Spain, Observer Magazine, FT How To Spend It, Grazia and many more.  Numerous celebrities like Livia Firth, Lily Cole, Eva Longoria, Anne Hathaway have worn her items. The company retails products across the world, working in Jordon, Lebanon, U.A.E, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Cambodia and Kenya.
The lady with high spirit also works for unprivileged poor people especially women. The bags are usually crafted by the poor women residing in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan. “Being Pakistani, I wanted to bring the concept of fashion that creates positive change and empowers women to Pakistan. By launching the company here, I want to provide a platform to our artisans on an international platform,” says Ayesha Mustafa, Founder of Fashion ComPassion.
In Karachi, Fashion ComPassion will launch three 3 of its brands from the Middle East that work with Palestinian Refugee women, marginalized women in Lebanon & Bedouin women. Coming up with unique and limited edition stuff that are hand crafted with exotic leather and gold-plated embellishments.
The brand will also be working with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in linking the agency’s women beneficiaries to similar product development while supporting their food needs.

Fashion Compassion includes Nawa, Sougha, and Palestyle in its collection. The event was attended by a large number of socialites and celebrities including Anoushey Ashraf, Nida Azwer, Sanam Chaudhri, Ali Safina, Hira Tareen, Maheen Karim, Misha Lakhani, Farishteh Aslam, Adnan Pardesy, Shiza Hassan and many more. However, the PR was handled by none other than Catalyst PR & marketing.
