Exam Call

The dark clouds of examination have once again covered all the students under their shadow. All the students are thinking of scoring well and passing out with flying colors. However, butterflies of tension are also dancing inside the stomach of every student and the ant of stress is continuously biting the delicate minds of future builders. The germs of tension and stress are in the air with high hopes students are preparing themselves for their final exams.
Desk is flooded with papers; piles of books are at one corner, the mugs of tea and coffee are on the other corner, hands are on head, pencil in mouth and tension reflecting on face. This is the scenario of most students preparing for exams. Everyone tries to become a nerd before one week of exams which is also necessary because in today’s competitive world exams are seems to be as a battlefield where everyone has to gain good marks and grades while fighting for high grades they actually becomes a dummy of stress and tension and forgets what is food or refreshment? At that time they know only two energetic drink tea and coffee. Students think they will attain good marks because they are sacrificing their health and sleep for the preparation which is totally a wrong perception. In many cases it has been seen that students got faint in examination hall because they don’t take proper diet or sleep during exam.

However, a well prepared student is one who is confident, well-read, and most importantly de-stressed and healthy. He knows how to balances between studies, entertainment and relaxation.
To become a well-prepared student, you need proper planning and management of studies and diet. Every student wants to attain good marks and grades to do so he has to follow the below mentioned points to avoid taking stress and lastly to get through examination with flying colors.

1.   Take stress but positive:

The word stress is multi colored. It has both sides positive and negative. Students should take stress but positive in the form of motivational stress. Do stress on to do better. Take a revision test, mark your self then find your mistakes and motivate your self. Learn from other’s mistakes too. If your friend got high marks or less marks. Check out his or her mistakes or if they secure full marks check their paper what strategy they apply in whole paper.

2.   Do important first:

“The more studying you did for the exam, the less sure you are as to which answer they want.”
It is a common flaw in students they start to learn whole syllabus without any marking or checking what is significant and what is not. They want to learn whole course in one day which is impossible. First learn the most important topics then less and at the end least important.

3.    Understand topics

Every topic is important and at the same time every topic is difficult to learn too. Try to understand the logic or the main idea behind any topic It will help you allot when you forget anything in exams because it’s a universal truth you can forget the exact words but the idea remain in your mind. Don’t learn by heart use your brain.

4.   Prepare short notes:

For long topics make short notes or strips. In other words, try to make small summaries that are covering all your topics. You can also say them as clue shits or key words. If you forget any point then look in the shit for the keyword. It’ll help you to remember the points.

5.   Learn how to answer:

Many students know everything and according to them they have attempt each and every question in the exam but their result don’t match their hard work. It didn’t mean they don’t work hard it means they don’t know how to answer. Teachers use to give tricky questions in exams that are actually from the easiest topic but the ways they present the question horrify students and in confusion they do the question wrong. Avoid such blunders read the questions two times or try to translate it in your native language to understand it well and then answer.

6.   Divide your time:

Many students become mad during exam season. They tuned off their all activities which is very good but don’t sink in studies for 24 hours and don’t cram yourself to study. Take some time out from your schedule for rest and feast and lastly for television. Do watch TV for half an hour to fresh your mind.

7.   Study at night and early morning:

Studying at night or early morning these are the best time to study. In morning your mind is fresh and with this fresh mind you can actually learn the topics more easily then in any other time.
Apart from early morning, late night is best time to study because everyone in house uses to sleep which means no disturbance because in afternoon or early night the voices of siblings, parents or TV distracts. But at night you can learn well in complete silence.

      8.   Eat well and sleep tight:

Due to the stress of exams the sleep is used to vanish from eyes but try to lay on bed and close your eyes to give relax to your mind. Take a tight sleep doesn’t treat yourself as machine even machine also needs rest to work again. However, glucose is the fuel that drives the brain and body. Proteins are the building blocks of the brain and body. Water helps to maintain a positive circulation around the body so eat well a machine also needs charging so If you are treating yourself as a machine then do charge your body by food.

Following were the most important key points for the students who are preparing themselves for exams. Do follow these tips and I am sure you will get good marks with good health.
Good Luck for exams!
