Band Baja Baraat: Mauj Masti Dhamaal

ou have attended many wedding parties but this time Yash Raj film is giving you an open invitation to attend a marriage ceremony. No, Aditya Chopra is not going to be married nor Anushka Sharma but for his latest movie Band Baja Baraat that has recently released on 10^th December 2010. So all the barratries get ready, he is eagerly waiting for your honorable presence the venue is your nearby cinema houses. This movie is full of liveliness and can be call as Mauj, Masti, and Dhamaal.

The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra and Directed by Maheesh Sharma. The lead role in the movie is playing by young couple Anushka Sharma and a new comer Ranveer Singh. Anushka Sharma playing role of Shruti Kakkar is the same lucky girl who started her career by working with Shahrukh Khan in Rab ne bana de Jodi. She has recently worked in Badmash Company played a Badmash role. But this time you will see her in a different role of 20 years old young Graduate and ambitious girl who wanted to start her own wedding planning business Shaadi Mubarak Her acting and dialogue delivery is flawless. She has perfectly played the role of a middle class girl and her attire adds extra spices in her performance. Like all the mom dads in the world her parent also wants to get her married but she took 5 years’ time from them to fulfill all her dreams.  On the other hand, Ranveer Singh playing role of Bitto gao ka chorra (village boy) whose parents wants to take him back to the village but he made excuse of Shaadi Mubarak. He has given a flawless performance in the movie and his accent reflects his ethnicity well.

Band Baja Barat movie is inspired from a Hollywood movie “The wedding planner” in which female wedding planner falls in love with groom but Band Baja Barat is the story of two youngsters who started the wedding planning business and falls in love with each other like all the Hindi movies. However Anushka (Shruti) has certain rules of business jiss key sath veopaar karo uss sey kabhie na pyar karo (never loves your business partner) but like all Hindi movies she forgets all her rules and falls in love with Ranveer (Bitto). Now a days there is a trend in all Bollywood movies a girl falls in love but the boy didn’t accept the love and labbled the relationship as friendship but at the end of the movie he realizes “I am in love with her” recently the same scene is picturise in the super hit movie I hate love story in which Sonam Kapoor falls in love with Emran Khan but he didn’t accept her love and called the relationship as so called friendship but in the end of the movie he realize that he actually loves Sonam so as in the movie Band Baja Baraat, initially Shruti hides her love but soon she break off partnership with Bitto and started working separated but last grand marriage took both of the hearts near and finally Bitto recognize the feelings for Shruti in his heart and the movie ends like all Hindi movies on the line  “and they live happily ever after”.

The songs of the movie are quite pleasant. Ainvey Ainvey is an interesting song with catchy lyrics and wonderful expressions and dance. Now days, it is playing in every wedding party and FM radio stations. Dam Dam mast hai is another energetic song and Adha ishq is a romantic number in the movie. However the whole movie from start till end is unrealistic. It shows the height of luckiness. Shruti and Bitto’s first planned wedding without any big experience becomes successful and the game is not over yet after one wedding they gave number of hits without any failure. Moreover, the team working with them doesn’t betray them. The Director can do much more and better stuff in the plot regarding profit and loss of wedding planning business and about their life but regretfully he just focused on the love story throughout the movie.

The movie Band Baja Baraat is a complete time pass movie. The expressions and dialogues have added extra color and spices in it.

A tale of revenge...

Dr Shaista Wahidi one of the most famous host of Pakistani media who got fame and name from ARY’s morning show “Good Morning Pakistan” has recently switched to Geo TV replacing Nadia Khan’s “Nadia Khan show” by her brand new morning show “Utho jago Pakistan”. On second episode of Utho jago Pakistan (2nd episode of 30th November 2010) she invited “Amanat Ali” and our own queen of scandals “Meera”. Poorly Shaista got encountered with her adversity on the very next episode.

Elder people use to say, “A person’s respect is in his own hands” and we all are familiar with the proverb “Look before you leap” but sometimes tongue doesn’t co-operate with our words and slip of tongue occur. Its human nature, most of the times we forget things and calling incorrect names is very common but it happens one time, two times but if it happens third so it means you are doing it deliberately. Same slip of tongue incident happened in second episode by our own Shaista Wahidi and it was all pre –plan. Her tongue slips only on the name of her own guest Amanat Ali. She calls him “Asad” not one, not two times but three times same as that a person doesn’t mind one time, two times but third time he reacts so as Amanat Ali did. When she said “Asad oh sorry Amanat” Amanat replied: “Nadia oh sorry Shaista”. First of all it’s very absurd to forget your own guest name and the guest is also a big star then what’s the sense behind taking incorrect name? If we take it in a formal traditional way, a person invites guest to his house, he honors him by delightful and respectful words then why Shaista did such a big blunder?

That’s not enough as Newton said “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” so how Shaista will leave Amanat on his such disgraceful act without taking any reveng to do so she cut his conversation. She put her leg in the middle of conservation and speedily moves towards Meera without let him to complete his sentence.
That was Amanat Ali’s part now moves towards Queen of sandals Meera, who is going to host a show on Geo TV very soon. Now days Lollywood’s super stars are moving towards small screen. Following the footsteps of Reema Khan, we will soon watch Meera in her very own show. Meera has tried her luck in every field now she is moving towards small screen. The question is what is the name of the show? What kind of show she is going to host? What are the segments? These entire questions have no answer because Meera didn’t reveal anything about her show. At a point Shaista was revealing the name but Meera exclaimed: “No! Not now. I didn’t finalize the name yet!!!” although she was been to UJP for the publicity and advertisement of the show. Her hidden motive was to give a clue to people about her show but regretful she didn’t reveal anything.
While in the whole episode Meera was busy in adjusting her hair. More over when Shaista asked to take a break as she is going to host a show in future she replied: “Merey paas script nahe hai” (I don’t have the script).
Further moving, Shaista asked Meera about her childhood, fitness and beauty secrets she replied: “I will reveal my secrets in my own show right now I can’t tell you anything” and for childhood one her excuse was “When I will come with my brother and mother I will tell you about my childhood”. Meera reveals only one thing that is her real name “Irtiza Rubab” and nothing more interesting. In fact Shaista was asking this question to the audience about her real name and at the end of the show Meera herself didn’t disclose the name she said to Shaista “aap batadein”. Applause for her!
There was a big advertisement in the newspaper for the publicity of the episode “watch Utho jago Pakistan’s second episode. Guests are your own Amanat Ali and Meera with me (Shaista Wahidi)”. Although people are bored of watching Meera and Amanat Ali’s interview because on every morning show, they are sitting in fact Shaista herself has taken their interviews in “Good morning Pakistan” but still people watch the episode for a new change but found the episode cliché one and full of blunders.

Up Coming attractions of Bollywood and Lollywood

Many Bollywood big budget movies in the queue are ready to hit the golden screen in December 2010 and in coming year 2011. Tees Maar Khan starting Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is releasing on 24 December 2010. It seems that the year 2010 is lucky for Akshay Kumar. He is doing Master Chef on star plus and recently he has given his super hit movie Action replay and now Tees Maar Khan is on its way. Amir Khan’s Dhobi ghat is releasing on 21 January 2011. Emran Hashmi and Ajay Devgan’s Dil to baccha hai ji is releasing on 28 January 2011.

The magic of Bollywood is influencing every sole but our Lollywood is also not behind anyone Yeah I am talking about BOL the up coming movie of Shoaib Mansoor. The director and producer of Khuda kay liye, a movie that revive the Pakistani film industry. Shoiab Mansoor is again in full bloom and ready to steal everyone’s heart!

Hold your hearts ladies and gentle men. I am 101% sure that the cast of the movie will take your hearts away. Cast of the movie based on the debutants. The main hero of the movie is very close to our heart and is none other then Atif Aslam a multi talented person, playing role of a middle class doctor. Along with Atif Aslam, Humaima Abbasi playing role of a tawaif, VJ Mahira khan of agg playing role of woman in abaya. Iman Ali, the lead actress in Khuda kay liye also performing in this movie. Atif Aslam, Mahira khan and Iman Ali are in the lead role, where else Hadiqa Kiyani is making a cameo appearance.

It’s a movie of  pop singer so it’s obvious that the music would be a blast and I am sure about it because Annie princess, Hadiqa Kiyani, Faiza Mujahid are singing in the movie

This movie was going to be released in September 2010 but delayed and now it’s probably releasing in January 2011.

Holiday’s blast!

Dear People fasten your seat belts because the plane is ready to take-off. Once again we are going into home prison for about a week. A flood of holidays is coming towards us. It is predicted that 16 (Thursday) 9th Muharram , 17 (Friday) 10th Muharram and  18 (Saturday)  is not a holiday itself but many offices and school remain closed on saturdays and 19 (Sunday) is a holiday it self!

The game is not over yet. 25 December is on Saturday so 26 is Sunday again a holiday it self. and 27th December Death anniversary of our own PM Benazir Bhutto.

Well its funny,  our New year started with holidays and will end on holidays. Karachiites enjoy extra holidays. Karachi city, the back bone of Pakistan’s economy usually shut down due to political parties clashes, targeting killing etc.

“A complain is a gift"

Everyone in this world wants to hear praise, admiration and commendation but no one wants to listen complains. Someone complain a lot doesn’t mean they are unhappy. Obviously, there is some connection between what happens in someone's life and the things that they complain about. When a lot of bad events occur i.e. traffic jam, bad weather or load shedding people usually complain. In other words, complaining is a way to vomit out bad feelings it makes people feel better and light.

Complaining is not a bad thing a single complain can change one’s life. It turns into a gift for someone. Many people in the world learn from mistakes but there are a certain group of people including organization that learns from complains. Most of the organizations especially restaurants etc are relying on complains. The secret behind their success is that they listen and solve complains of their customers. But there are certain organizations that don’t believe in this theory. They have turned deaf ears on customer’s issues, off course our own K.E.S.C In our society there are two kinds of people who complain against injustice and other who remains quite because they don’t have guts to complain against illegal things. Complaining against in justice is equivalent to social work and people who are taking actions against it , they are giving a gift of peace to the world. Similarly if you complain about a kid to his parents then it will turn a gift for him in future.

In this age where media has changed human minds socially and psychologically. In this situation if you are complaining against bad stuff and because of you things are changing and turning into a gift. It means that you are still in your senses using your gray cells to think and act. You are not completely retarded, congrats!

Our Locked Destinies

Don't you think every thing in this world is pre-planned? 

Yeah everything is planned by God

Our lives are connected with one an other. Its like a story, we meet someone his story connects with ours then the story moves forward. Some times we meet only one new person in a day some times a lot of new entries occur in our life. Many of them greet us , most of them shake hands and disappear but few of people left their foot prints on our hearts and become part of our sweet memories for the life time. These are the special people. Its only the charm of their attractive personalities that we get effected by them in a very short time period.

Being a Muslim we believe in concept of Taqdeer (destiny), Kismet (luck). Its part of our religion to have faith in it. Our destinies are pre-written by God but we can change them by our prayers. It happens many time, we continue asking something from God but He didn't fulfil our particular wish at that time. He reply our wish at right time and right place. Sometimes He answer our wishes in a single second and sometimes He takes days, weeks, months....to fulfil them and at the end of the day we realize and question our selves:

"What I was asking? that wasn't good for me... ohhh..I was out of my senses..."

and finally we say:

"God knows better and at last He has done everything in my favor"

As a young soul we keep wandering here and there in search of true love but a soul mate is pre-written by God.

God has made us in pairs and leave the task of searching them on us. I believe if someone is made for you (soul mate) then all stars, universe will arrange your meeting and one day that sweet encounter will take place and you will meet your soul mate but we usually get involved with other people in life and at the end of the day we end up with our soul mate only! So stop wandering here and there!...

Movie Review

Dabangg

An other hit of Salman Khan

                                                                                   

If you are a big fan of Dharmendhra or Amithabh bachan movies and willing to watch such action movies again then I strongly recommend you to watch Dabang. Fasten your seats belts because this movie has charm to take you back in old days. Dabang is a movie takes place in a small village of Utar Pradesh, India featuring Indian culture. It’s an action movie with a happy ending just like the movies of 80s and 90s.at the end all the separated puzzles of picture joined together and family completed.

Dabangg which is full on an action movie of Salman Khan after wanted. In which Salman Khan playing role of Chulbul Pandey a corrupt officer who takes money from the criminals and let them go. Movie produced by Arbaaz Khan (Makkhanlal pandey) Chulbul’s step brother and directed by Abhinav Kashyap, younger brother of Anuraag Kashyap and a debutante actress Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrughan Sinha playing role of Rajo.

Story: The story is about Chulbul Pandey whose father passes away in the age of 2.. His mother married to Prajapathi pandey (vinodh kanna) and they also have a kid Makkhanlal pandey (Arbaaz khan).urf Makkhi. Chulbul’s step father never accepted him as his son and always treats him in a bad manner and supports his son Makkhi. The situation changes after 21 years, Chulbul turns into a corrupt officer. He never respects his father. Chulbul’s only weak point in the movie is his mother unsuitably played by Dimple Kapadiya. Twist come in the story when jobless Makkhi falls in love with the daughter of a school master but his father didn’t approve the marriage and demand huge money in dowry. Makkhi plans to steal Chubul’s money to get married. When he was collecting money, his mother caught him red hand. Makkhi promises to return the money after marriage. Where else after the death of Rajo’s father, Chulbul and Rajo got married. Unfortunately Chulbul’s mother die and his father didn’t accept him as his son so Chulbul leaves the place and decided to live in police head quarters with his wife  Story takes a new turn when Chedi Singh (Sonu Sood) a UP minster. Actually villain of the movie takes full advantage of differences between brothers. He used Makkhi for his bad intentions. At the end big brother, Chulbul save his brother and killed the villain. More over, his father accepts him and his wife. All well when ends well!

Wardrobe: The make up, outfits in the movie are A-one. Salman Khan designer clothes and officer dress suits him, where else Sonakshi Sinha’s wardrobe is of elegant saris and gharra choolis. Lamenting the saris and gharra choolis wore by her in the movie are failed in to hide her fat hands. Yeah she is little fat in the movie and the concept of open hairs is not understandable by me. She’s a pot maker in the movie and use to keep her hairs open during making pots with wet clay. Dimple Kapadiya silk saris are not giving her touch of Up wali

Humor: Humor is another basic ingredient of the movie. Salman Khan Keeps his audience entertain through out the movie by his funny dialogues and jigs. There are many interesting dialogues in the movie. I wasn’t able to stop my laughter, when in scene Anupum Kher an other minister ask Chulbul:

“Yeh kaala chashma pechey kyun lagaty ho?

“Takay hum ko agay ka aur pechey ka dono dekhai dey” Chulbul replied.

And one of the most famous dialogues:

“Hum Robin hood Pandey hain urf Chulbul Pandey”

Beside comedy a sweet dialogue said by Rajo:

“Thapar se dar nahi lagta, pyar se dar lagta hai”

In spite of these dialogues there are many dialogues said in the movie by Chulbul Pandey that bring smile on the face. In one scene when Chulbul mother dies and he was crying although he was crying but the way he showing his grief makes me smile. It was a sad scene done in a funny way.

Music: Here we go with the music of the movie. Music of Dabangg is one of a big hit. All the songs in the movie suits the situations. Song Hud hud dabangg sung by Sukhwinder Singh, starting song of the movie. The dance step done by Salman Khan in the song hit the dance floors. Now adays all the people are copying that particular step.

Song Terey mast mast do nain sung by Rahat Fateh Ali khan is a big hit the lyrics of the song has a special magnetism in it when ever I listened to this song, completely drown into the lyrics. How ever the dance step done in the song is not suiting the lyrics. Although it’s funny after all a police officer don’t know how to dance!

Another song romantic number Chori kya rey jiya number sung by Sonu Nigam and Sheryl Goshva. It a love song between Chulbul and Rajo beautifully pictures in Dubai.

Ahhh…Now the turn of our Munni comes. Munni…has taken everyone’s heart. Every one is asking the reason of Munni’s badnaami. Take a break and tell me have you ever listened to this song?

Ladka badnaam hua haseena tere liye…???.

What… you don’t.  Same reaction was mine when I first listened to this song. Song Munni Badnaam hueee its copy of Pakistani song from Umer Sharif movie “Mr Charlie” released in 1992.

Anyways this song is a big hit. In other words this song puts life in every dull party. This song pictures on Malaika Arora Khan urf Munni and she has done justice to the song. In short she has completely burn the dance floor. Many people were expecting Mallika Sherawat for the song, how Mallika can dance in a movie in which Malaika’s hubby and brother in law are performing, no chance for any other lady!

In shorts this movie has an old story line with a new modified touch. All the characters performed well.

Robot (2010)

A movie with no sense

      

    

Are you feeling dull want some hulchul???  If you want to laugh then must watch the Hindi version of Mr. Rajnikant’s Robot (2010). You have definitely tried different kind of chaats but have you ever tasted a filmy chat? I know your mouth watering. Here we go with the review of robot that is actually a plate of chaat formed by the mixing and fixing of different Hollywood movies terminator, robot of will smith and universal soldier of Van Damme.

Cast of the gola gunda (movie) 

Mr. Rajnikant hero of the movie and Ms Aishwariya Rai Bachan heroin. I am sure the cast of the movie start titillating your stomach but hold your laughter because it’s just a trailer. Picture abhi baki hai mere dost!! I was shocked when I first heard the cast. The cast of the movie urge me to watch it.

Rajnikant bhai sahab is playing two roles in the movie one of scientist Dr Vasigaran and second one is of robot named as Chitthi and beautiful Aish name is Sana in the movie. The whole story is senseless. I want to give suggestion to director of the movie. Please, concern world’s best psychologist and check your mental status because this movie is out of human caliber.

The main high lights of the movie: 

Vasigaran invented a robot who have all the humanly emotions in it i.e. love; hate etc and his own invention (Chitthi) fall madly in love with Sana (Vasigaran’s girlfriend). Chitthi proposes Sana but Sana rejects him and said, “I love Vasigaran, you are my best friend”. Then the poor broken heart robo ooops not broken heart, broken motherboard robo disobey Wasi in revenge as a result Wasi destroys him in anger. But love never dies. Wasi’s competitor gave a new life to Chitthi and makes him an evil Chitthi by installing a red chip inside him. In other half of the movie Chitthi acts as an evil robot. Now the story takes a new turn, in next part of the movie this Speed 1 Terabyte, Memory 1 Zeta byte Robot start making his own army to conquered the world and most important to marry his love Sana. Infact he has done all the family planning. His intention was to inject his electronic genes into Sana and Sana will be first lady on earth who will give birth to the mutual child of human and machine. But at the end of all Hindi movies achai ke jeet hoti hai, many soldiers of Chitthi’s army died cause of battery low but Chitthi remains alive at the end Scientist Vasigaran successfully plug out the evil chip and Chitthi turn into an angel Chitthi.

Most hilarious scenes of the movie: 

 Have you ever found a mosquito speaking? Don’t you…Oh then Robot 2010 is giving you this golden chance to see a mosquito speaking not only this Chitthi also negotiate with mosquito, it seems this robot is also familiar with animal languages. Oh my my! In one scene of the movie a little mosquito queen bites Sana. Chitthi run behind the mosquito and ask her to say sorry to Sana but mosquitoes attack Chitthi, poorly all their stings got failed in front of Chitthi’s steel body and queen gave up and said sorry to Sana, its ok Sana said in reply. 

There was a scene in the movie in which Chitthi do a maternity operation of a pregnant lady. This out of the world invention told the exact timings of child birth to the doctors and at the same time delivery of the lady takes place.

In another scene our brave robot helps Sana in cheating, with the help of micro phone the intelligent invention help Sana in solving her M.B.B.S paper.

The most out understanding feature Chitthi, his gun. In the movie he uses his finger as gun and thumb as trigger so funny!!

In the whole movie I was wondering why Aish darling was running away from Chitthi what worse he can do with her? He can’t even rape her then why she’s is over reacting.

Music of the movie: 

There are few songs in the movie that are understandable by me. The costumes and cerography of songs are out of this world. Lyrics of a song are tu auto auto wala tu automatic wala manatein karay hain sub autograph do what’s this? However, the music of the movie has given by legendary A.R. Rehman. There are many songs in the movie and most of them are picturise on Sana and Chitthi. In one song Sana and Vasigaran are dancing on a wild song in a wild valley, wearing wild dresses.

Where as he wardrobe and looks of Aishwariya is elegant no doubt she looks beautiful in the movie. It seems she is getting more beautiful with age. On the other hand Vasigaran has a beard in the movie that is giving him a perfect look of a bear! Besides that his tammy is enhancing his age.

The main question mark is why Aishwariya agreed to do this movie? From start till end this movie makes no sense. Its true Hollywood movies show exaggeration but their exaggeration is bearable. Bollywood movies show extra exaggeration. It’s not bad if you are showcasing unrealistic scenes it depends on how you are showing it.

Be aware of barsati maindaks!

On this Eid be aware of barsati maindaks . They are not professional butchers. You can say them tailors who come to unstich your animals some times they succeed but most of the times they force you to shed blood tears and on the day of celebration you regret on hiring them.

You can easily find them in your locality where 5 people mount on an animal and the animal easily escape from their possession. These 5 people are none other then barsati maindaks!

How ever, if they succeed in slaughtering the scattered animal. They will show their unskilledness in their work. This unskilled team tear your animal into unequal pieces and ask  for complimentary tea, lunch also.

More over, after sucking all your blood and completing the operation of your animals, these vampires will steal your animal's flesh too! 

Barsati maindak's intention:

Their main intention is to become millionaire in 3 days of Eid. They ask 5000 r.s for per animal and give 3 hours  to each animal.

cleanliness, It's Eid-ul-Azha time. Every Muslim will sacrifice animals in the way of Allah. We all are familiar with the story behind Eid-ul-Azha but what about the intention? Our intention is to display our animals in other words we showcase our animals. We have forgotten the real meanings of sacrifice. I am saying it because most of us slaughter animals and through its waste on the road. If we are following one Sunnah that is Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S) at the same time we are neglecting the Hadith of Hazrat Mohmmed (S.A.W.W) that is:

Being a Muslim we have to follow all the Ahadith and Sunnahs that are present in Quran and other Holy books.
